Before You Go

When to Visit

May to September offers long daylight hours and pleasant weather, with temperatures from 15-25°C (59-77°F). June brings white nights with nearly 18 hours of daylight. Winter (December-February) is cold and dark but magical with Christmas markets, though temperatures hover around -3°C (27°F). Spring and fall offer fewer tourists and lower prices.

Visa

Check requirements

EU/EEA citizens can enter freely. US, Canadian, Australian, and many other nationals can visit visa-free for up to 90 days within the Schengen Area. Check requirements at swedenabroad.se before travel.
