Before You Go

When to Visit

May to August offers the warmest weather with temperatures from 15-22°C (59-72°F) and long days. Late June brings white nights with nearly 19 hours of daylight. Winter (December-February) is cold (-5 to 2°C) but perfect for winter sports, Christmas markets, and Northern Lights trips to northern Norway. Spring and fall offer fewer crowds and lower prices.

Visa

Check requirements

EU/EEA citizens can enter freely. US, Canadian, Australian, and many other nationals can visit visa-free for up to 90 days within the Schengen Area. Check udi.no for requirements.
