May to October warm (20-30°C/68-86°F). July-August extremely crowded and expensive but peak beauty. June and September ideal - warm, fewer crowds. Sunset views famous. Most businesses close November-April.

By Air: Santorini (Thira) Airport (JTR) has flights from Athens (45 min) and European cities in summer.

By Ferry: From Athens Piraeus (5-8 hours), Mykonos (2-3 hours), Crete (2 hours).

Buses: Connect main towns (Fira, Oia, beaches) (€2-3). Crowded in summer.

Rental Car/ATV: Popular for exploring (€30-60/day).

Scooters: (€20-40/day) but steep cliffs.

Taxis: Limited and expensive (€15-40).

Walking: Caldera path from Fira to Oia scenic (3 hours).

Bus: To Fira (20 min, €2).

Taxi: To Fira €20-25, to Oia €30-40 (15-30 min).
